Born: Fresno, Ca
Instrument: Singer, Songwriter
Background: I started singing in front of a crowd when I was 3 years old to the embarrassment of my mother who stood behind a tree and watched her sweet little lady (dirty as all get out from playing in the park all day with her daddy) sing her heart out in a circle of about 30 people. I was hooked from there! I was put in church choir at 6 and did every musical I could get into. I went into playing woodwinds for the school band and stayed a band Lander until I graduated from high school. During that time I played in all the school musicals, choir for 4 years and learned theory till it ran out my ears. At 15 years old I was going through a real hard time. My father had left my mother for a younger woman and my sheltered life .

got turned upside down. Unlike some kids I knew who turned to drugs, sex or self-destruction during this awful time I really rebelled! I WENT TO A CHURCH YOUTH GROUP AND SPILLED MY HEART TO GOD. Thanks to James Lawson the youth pastor I was turned to reading the bible and looking for my answers instead of accepting others words as gospel. When I asked God into my heart I wanted to scream from the rooftops and I did just that from the roof of the church at 11pm. I stayed on fire and told anyone who would listen about Jesus love. I played with my first real band in Oakdale California (where I grew up.) at 16 years old. I sang in the roughest bar around called the H bar B. It was quite an experience. I left my one horse town (Oakdale) and went to the crazy city of Los Angeles to go to college. I went to Grove School of Music and graduated with a general music degree. It was such a rush to be with people that like myself had a love for music so intense that it drove them. At 18 I sang with Marty Haggard and By 22 I had my first album out with a single at number 10 on the independent charts. There were times in my life that I fell away from God and every time he forgave me for my pride, stupidity and just all around worldly nature. He drew me back and held me as a parent would hold a wounded child. He gave me strength and love so my faith in him could grow even deeper. Then he put me where he wanted me, Not singing in bars as I had in the past. Not writing songs about things of this world that would only bring people down one way or another but he handed me a place in a band with my husband. A band that would (by the grace of God) reach out and draw more people like us to the way of Jesus Christ. Giving them hope and an almighty counselor who would listen and speak to a willing heart of love and compassion and eternal life in him.
First Concert: Nothing like dating yourself.
Influences: The Almighty God, Dolly Parton, my mother and her sweet angelic voice (which no one but the children hear) Melissa Ethridge, Lita Ford, Pink Floyd, Cher and a whole lot of traditional country artists. Which would explain my songwriting story style.
Equipment: Shure, Rode, AKG and Sennheiser microphones, Samson and Nady wireless, Lexicon and Alesis effects, JBL monitors and DBX & TC Electronics preamps
Vision: My vision for our music is to make people feel and want what it is that fulfills us, JESUS CHRIST. I want to reach as many people young and old alike with the message of our lord. I want to give the kids a different form of expression, music just like secular music but with positive, uplifting lyrics that strengthen us and build us up. I want them to feel the love and security that comes with exciting, God filled music. I want those who are hurting to know there's somewhere they can go and someone they can turn to instead of turning to destructive behavior and those who already know this to be strengthened by the message.
May Christ's love flow thru us straight to your hearts.
